Hi! My name is Mrs. Finerghty the kids often call me Fin. I have been at the Hannibal school district since 2019, first as a TA at Fairley elementary and now as the 8th grade science teacher at Dennis M. Kenney Middle School.

It is my honor to explore the natural world with your student. In our classroom we honor authentic learning through constructive conversations, accountable talk, and respect. All voices are welcome as it is in the real science world. We seek to reflect what scientists do in their day to day lives, ask questions, find some answers, share our findings and be reviewed by our peers.

We are driven by the fact that Knowledge is Power! The more your student learns, the greater power they will have in this world.!
